Tammy McLeod

Birthdate: February 15, 1977
Hometown: London, ON
Residence: London, ON
Class: BC2

Tammy McLeod began her para-sport career in swimming, but was quickly recruited to Boccia by a friend and has since been to four Paralympic Games – Atlanta (1996), Athens (2004), Beijing (2008) and London (2012). She won a bronze medal in the team division at the 2015 Parapan American Games, which was later stolen as a result of a break in. Thanks to the TO2015 Host Organizing Committee, the stolen medal was later replaced in an emotional ceremony in front of her hometown supporters in London. Aside from her intense training schedule, Tammy enjoys spending time with friends and family. An avid basketball fan, she is frequently spotted cheering for her favourite teams, the London Lightning and Toronto Raptors.
