Amélie Racine

Amélie graduated from Laval University with a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy in 2009. She then focused on continuing her education in neurology, pediatrics, chronic pain, physical training, and gross motor skills. She worked for several years in rehabilitation centers, first with adults with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions and then with pediatric clients. For the past few years, she has been self-employed, offering her services from home.

Amélie joined the Boccia Canada team in 2020 in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic! It required a great deal of integration but did not prevent Amélie from creating a place for herself. She shares her knowledge and experience with the athletes to help them feel physically fit and perform well. Through working with the team, she discovered a fascinating sport, a way of life, and a community that she is happy to be a part of.
