Joëlle Guérette
Joëlle Guérette was first inspired to try boccia through a friend who was passionate about the sport. She soon discovered that she had a knack for the game and has achieved several important wins thus far. Notably, she was a part of the 2019 BISFed Montreal Boccia World Open pairs group that won a silver medal. She is motivated to play because it keeps her physically and mentally stimulated. She has become a staple on the National Team and continues to progress both in individual and pairs play with her performance partner, Jonathan Manseau, by her side. In her spare time, Guérette helps her friend Yves Gauthier gather funds for Muscular Dystrophy Canada, a cause that she is passionate about.
