Officials are essential to the game of boccia. Games and competitions would not happen without them. There are different types of boccia officials:

Game Officials

Head Referee (oversees referees at a competition)
Referee (oversees each game according to the rules)
Linesperson (assists the referee during the game, particularly with calling infractions)
Time Keepers (tracks the time and score for the game)

Classifiers (reviews athletes to determine eligibility)

Physiatrist/Neurologists
Physiotherapists
