✨Duo of the Month✨ Joe Philpott and Andrew Woodrow were introduced to boccia through the Bratz@Home program that Boccia Canada delivered during COVID. Notable achievements:
- Andrew won silver (Individuals) at the 2024 Défi sportif AlterGo National Open
- Joe came in 5th (Individuals) and 4th (Mixed Team) at his first 2024 Canadian Champs as a BC1 foot player
- Both selected for the Espoir Team and they will be competing in their first international event ever at the Curitiba Youth World Championships in about a week.
Beyond boccia, they are great friends and go to movies and hang out together in St. Johns, NL. Andrew volunteers at Easter Seals, mentoring athletes in the junior program.

✨Duo du mois✨ Joe Philpott et Andrew Woodrow ont été initiés au boccia grâce au programme Bratz@Home offert par Boccia Canada pendant la COVID. Réalisations notables :
- Andrew a remporté l'argent (individuel) à l'Open national du Défi sportif AlterGo 2024
- Joe s'est classé 5e (individuel) et 4e (équipe mixte) à ses premiers Championnats canadiens 2024 en tant que joueur de pied BC1
- Tous deux ont été sélectionnés au sein de l'équipe Espoir et participeront à leur tout premier événement international aux Championnats du monde des jeunes de Curitiba dans environ une semaine.
Au-delà du boccia, ils sont de grands amis, vont au cinéma et passent du temps ensemble à St. Johns, Terre-Neuve. Andrew est bénévole à Easter Seals, où il encadre des athlètes dans le cadre du programme junior.
