Boccia Canada Supports the Decision to Postpone the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics Amid Health Concerns from COVID-19

Boccia Canada commends and fully supports the decision of the Canadian Paralympic Committee to not send a team to the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics this summer. Demonstrating global leadership, Canada was the first nation to announce that they will not attend the Games due to the threat of COVID-19 on the health and well-being of athletes and all those involved in the Games.

Québec Takes Three Golds, While Host British Columbia Sweeps the Open Category

December 4, 2019

The final day of competition at the 2019 Canadian Boccia Championships shifted to the Team, Pairs, and the Open category matches. Québec dominated the BC1/2 Team, BC3 Pairs, and BC4 Pairs events with gold medals in each category, while host British Columbia athletes took the top three spots in the Open category.
